Facts Reader is an independent reference site for question sets: trivia, riddles, would-you-rather prompts and fun facts, each published with the answers and grouped so you can pick the right difficulty for the people in the room.
What this site is for
Most question lists online are written to be scrolled, not used. They bury the answers at the bottom, mix a nine-year-old’s questions in with a pub quiz, and run out exactly when you need twenty more. Facts Reader is built the other way round: every set is grouped by subject or audience, every answer sits with its question, and every page works three ways — read it on a phone, hide the answers and play it as a quiz, or print it for a party, a classroom or a car journey.
How a set is built
Each page starts from what people actually search for, so the groups match the way the topic is really asked about rather than an arbitrary split. Sets are compiled with the assistance of language models and then put through automated editorial checks before anything is published. Those checks are not cosmetic — they reject material outright, and they are described in full on our editorial standards page.
Two rules that shape everything here
Nothing that goes stale. A question is only published if its answer was as true twenty years ago as it is today. No record-holders, no “most popular”, no box-office or net-worth figures, no answers anchored to a recent year. We would rather publish a shorter set than one that quietly becomes wrong.
Safe to read aloud. Teachers, parents and children use these pages. Every set is held to the same family-safe standard, including the ones written for adults, so you never have to pre-read a page before handing it to a class.
Corrections
If an answer here is wrong, we want to know and we will fix it. Write to us through the contact page with the page and the question, and please include the correct answer if you have it. Corrections are the fastest way this site gets better.
